Reliance Jio Announces The Longest 100Gbps Submarine Cable System

Reliance Jio, which boasts over 100 million 4G customer in India, has announced the launch of Asia-Africa-Europe (AAE-1) submarine cable system with a capacity of 100Gbps. In a press statement, they also claimed that this is going to be the longest 100Gbps-technology based submarine system which will stretch over a distance of 25,000 km. The new cable system will route from Marseille in France to Hong Kong in China, and there will be a total of 21 cable landings across Asia and Europe. Jio says that this system has worked incredibly for other network providers from Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
